Why is my account restricted?

To maintain the integrity of our research data and ensure a fair environment for all participants, MobLab Research actively monitors account activity. If your account is restricted, it is typically due to one of the reasons listed below.

1. Duplicate Accounts

High-quality data is the foundation of reliable research. To ensure unbiased results, participants are strictly limited to one account per person. Creating or maintaining multiple accounts is a violation of our Terms of Service.

How to Restore

If you unintentionally created multiple accounts, please contact support. Please note that in most cases, we only allow the restoration of the original account, and any duplicate accounts will be permanently closed.

2. Suspicious Cash-out Activity

Each PayPal or Venmo account should be used by only one MobLab Research participant. Using the same payment method for multiple accounts, or helping others cash out through your wallet, is considered high-risk activity and may lead to a permanent block on all related accounts.

Can This Be Reversed?

Because of payout and fraud risks, blocks related to payment activity are rarely reversed. You should only register if you are able to use a payment method that belongs to you personally.

3. Other Policy Violations

We may also block accounts for other serious violations. For security reasons, we do not disclose all details.
